The Autism Hero Walk is a rain or shine event. In case of severe weather, please check your e-mail and the website. We will post any cancellations accordingly.

On-site Registration: 7:30am          Opening Ceremonies: 8:30

Walk Takes Off: 8:45                        Event Concludes: 11:30

Guests are invited to enjoy the Detroit Zoo after the event for the rest of the day at no additional cost. 

Vendor and Resource Fair
This year, Autism Alliance of Michigan is inviting local autism service providers to join the Autism Resource Fair. This will give the  2000 walkers the opportunity to receive an abundance of resources before and after the Walk.

The walk is a free event and all registered walkers who arrive before 8:30AM will receive free parking and a free ticket to the Zoo. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the Zoo until close. 

While this is a free event, we ask that each registered walker make a $15 donation to help cover cost and support Autism Alliance of Michigan programming.
