Slightly poetic that I accidentally videoed Joshua’s first successful bike ride in slow motion. I never pushed bike riding on him because it was just too hard motor skills wise. I knew one day it would all just click on his on time. So here we’re are today, proud as can be that he can finally enjoy riding a bike! #proudmomma

My son showed signs of autism around 18 months. The only thing that was hard to grasp was how "unautistic" he seemed. Everyday became a checklist...is he, isn't he? I always knew he was on the spectrum, but where was his place. I knew I didn't want to label this little boy, but I searched for answers with every part of my being.
