I want to say Thank You, to all of you, for all the kind and supportive comments I received after sharing my previous post regarding our son Joshua. I’m so glad I did.

I’ve always been overprotective of him, because you never know how people will respond, and when it’s your child the decision to share becomes that much more difficult. Recently I’ve been binge watching Parenthood and I realized this was the only show and family I have been able to relate to in the last 4 years. It dawned on me that not enough people come forward and discuss how perfectly imperfect life is. He doesn’t need me to defend him anymore, he needs others to embrace him.
